I just wanna do arts and crafts with the homies! Join me (Cas) on Thursday August 8th, 7pm-9pm at It’s Ok* Studios (468 Queen St. W, M5V 2B2), it’s gonna be a TIME! Music, refreshments, vibes, networking/friend-making.
What the f*ck is a “zine”?
A zine is like a DIY magazine meets a scrapbook. You are the editor in chief and can write about whatever you want. It’s not as text intensive as a real magazine given the fact that it’s an 8 page pocket-sized booklet. You can mix and match with text excerpts, small drawings, funny sayings, trivia, games, listicles - the world is your oyster.
At the end of the workshop, I’ll have some mailing supplies and postage available - you can choose to mail your zine to a friend OR take it home and put it on that coffee table (so that ALL of your guests from here on out can read it).
